Amy Johnston Avenue connects McMillans Road with Stuart Highway. This is a straight 5 km strech of road a a quick access road if your going from the Airport to Britz or Kea depot's.

This is also a quick route for our territory thrifty and europcar customers coming from the airport trying to get to The Stuart Highway.

Did you know this very short avenue house most of our community clubs and that means one thing Food and Cultural Fairs.


On Amy Johnson Avenue - you will drive past the Batten Road Communti clubs. Now get the Northern Territory News (our newspaper) on a Staurday and look in the public notices for Food Fairs. Many are held here twice a year.

I went here once with Arthur eggleston way bacjk in the 80's and from what i hear it hasn't changed thankfully. Now this is the quiet favourite haunt for the 'Grey Nomads' (hey I'm one of those so don't knock them) who are RSL members for overseas or down south.

What can you see from Amy Johnson Avenue - just before the intersection of the Stuart Highway in Darwin Northern Territory Australia. Now to all our selfdrive clients drive slowly along this stretch and look back towards Darwin. (Hint also look above you - passengers that is). You will see usually 2-5 cars stopping and just watching takeoffs and landings.
