Dine in Cullen Bay drive only 5 minutes from the CBD Darwin

Cullen Bay Marina - It's around a 30 minute walk down a hill to the marina. So we suggets a cab if you aren't into walking.

Whatever you do you must go there for a look or a meal.

It is truely a beautiful marina.

At the end of Mitchell Street turn right and 300 meters into Lambell Terrace along you see the roundabout or if your coming from Smith Street it's on the same road.

Looking at the round about from Smith Street the Sky City Resort is directly down the hill 500 meters in front of you and next to that is Mindel Beach.

The Buzz Cafe: This place the most sensational views and environment.

(Yep have to mention- the men's washroom is world renowned - we won't spoil the surprise) but the look on our clients faces after the come out of their is hilarious.

On the beach side of the Marina there are 2 main restaurants that have excellent views of the sea andespecially the sunsets we found.

Even the old favourite Fish and Chips are well represented here.

Schooners: Well everytime we tried to get in here it was full - that has to say something- Recoomend you book ahead.

Our new all time favourite is the 'Boatshed Cafe'

There are currently 2 notable asian restuarants on the boardwalk this one (Left) is hidden opposite the Ferry terminal.

Well worth a visit. We visited the Thai Restaurant on the right in mid December 2007 and found the food and service worth the price.

Cullen Bay has an array of Thia, Indonesian and Asian restaurants. Always changing.

The boardwalk has a range of mediterrian restaurants that has seafood high on their menu.

The boardwalk is the most appealing part of Cullen Bay Marina we found.

It is boardwalk with many cafes and restaurants and is a must do on your list when 'Darwining'

The luxury homes that line the opposite side of the marina.

There is a pristine little beach hidden at the back of Seafood on Cullen and La Beach restaurant's.

It's sensational to look out over the secluded beach wjilst dining and viewing a vibrant yellow and red sunset.

The beach is about 5oom long.
Though note the Box Jelly Fish warning sign for swimmers.

Like all Darwin the rule of thumb is get there early for parking and viewing sunsets.

Cullen Bay Marina has ample parking - especially for our motorhome clients. We suggest only parking in the 2 main carparks at the beginning of the Cullen Bay Marina. We know there is at least one Westpac EFTPOS machine there out the front at the beginning of the boulevard on the left.
