Cullen Bay Marina - It's around a 30 minute walk down a hill to the marina. So we suggets a cab if you aren't into walking.

Whatever you do you must go there for a look or a meal.

It is truely a beautiful marina.

At the end of Mitchell Street trun right and 300meters along you see the roundabout or if your coming from Smith Street it's on the same road. Looking at the round about from Smith Street the SkyCity Resort is directly down the hill 500 meters in front of you and next to that is Mindel Beach.

The signage at the roundabout is very good and hard to get lost. Veering left at 11o'clock on the dial is the road down to Cullen Bay Marina.

Cullen Bay Marina has around 100 craft, boats and yachts in it's berths at any one time.

These can be the large tourist ferries to fishing charter boats, to visiting yachties travelling the world to our own yachties.

Cullen Bay Marina in Darwin- commercial strip resembles more of Nasau in the Bahamas.

Built actually around the time I first came to Darwin in 1988 it has the lifestyle any southerner would sell up for. Some of Darwin's most recognized and fequented cafes and restaurants are situated here such as Yots, The Boatshed and Buzz Cafe.

Buzz Cafe - Ok The washroom for men is a life changing experience. I won't spoil the surpirse you have a cool drink then men go to the toilet and see what I mean. It's said more more go in there for a peak than men.

At the roundabout at the commencemnt of Cullen Bay Marina if you go left dwon the hill you will enter the residental area of Cullen Bay Marina.

The homes here are some of the most luxurious homes on the Darwin property scene and highly sort after.

On the commercial side of Cullen bay there is now a small number of luxury apartment bulding which are highly sought after by local's when they come on the market as these apartments are close to the CBD and ideal for trendy city workers wanting great views, peaceful surroundings and close to the CBD.

Mandorah - Getting there a 15-minute ferry ride will bring you to Mandorah. Darwin city stretches all the way to the Beagle Gulf, which is part of the Timor Sea. Right across Port Darwin, a 15-minute ferry ride will bring you to Mandorah.

There is a pristine little beach hidden at the bach of Seafood on Cullen and La Beach restaurant's.

It's sensational to look out over the secluded beach wjilst dining and viewing a vibrant yellow and red sunset.

The beach is about 5oom long.
Though note the Box Jelly Fish warning sign for swimmers.

Down at the end of the Marina is the Ferry terminal carpark and the lock's gates.
