The
Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory
meranders through the building with spacious walkways
that blends one exibihtion to another.
From
Traditional Aboirginal art and culture onto the 1000's
of interest, marine creatures, and fauna that have originated
or settled in Northern Territory. Also the museum has
a splendid exhibition nestled in the building on cyclone
Tracy the most natural event that has effected our lives
here. There is a room that simulates the cyclone and
very erie feeling and so realistic.
Then
there is our WW11 displays as Darwin had a prominent
role in Australia's miltary history.
Allow
2-3 hours. Even though it's free admision there is a
box requesting for a gold coin donation (this means
a $1 or $1 aussie coin) if you could donate a coin we-
us Darwinians would greatly appreciate it. as this Musuea
and art gallery is really one of the best in the world
in our opinions.
