Palmerston
is relatively new, having been established in 1981 as
a satellite of Darwin. I
The
City of Palmerston is an active young community. The
city is 21km south of the Territory's capital, Darwin,
and has attracted many young families. Our population
is approximately 25,000.
Getting
there: Easy to find as you come out on the Struart
Highway the have to veer left to Kakadu, Litchfield
or Katherine or Alice Srings - continueing on is to
go to Palmerston. See the photo right.
