Renewing Passports
in Darwin
The Australian
Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade provides
helpful information on applying for or renewing
an Australian passport.
The Passport Office
is located on the 5th Floor, Northern Territory
House, 22 Mitchell St, Darwin. The office counter
business hours are 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. It's on
the corner (near the Tax Office) at the end of
Mitchell Street

The Department
of Foreign Affairs and Trade issues passports
to be used as evidence of identity and citizenship
by Australians who are travelling internationally.
Applications
for Australian passports may be lodged by appointment
at most Australia Post outlets or in some circumstances
at the Australian Passport Office. To make
an appointment you must ring the Australia Post
information service on 131 318 or the Australian
Passport Information Service on 131 232.
